Slovenian partner (Anton Trstenjak Institute of Gerontology and intergenerational Relations) hosted the 2nd training on key elements of working with older people.
In the previous months the research teams have been conducting personal conversations with older people and have now shared their experiences how principles for nice conversation have enriched their conversations. We have further explored the specific needs of older people – need to maintain physical, mental and spiritual activities, need for interpersonal relations, to pass on one’s life experiences, to perceive the meaning in old age, to be taken care of, etc. In the second part of the training the research groups have used this knowledge to start modifying their current projects and activities to address these specific needs in their local and working environments.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
